Mr. Monsebroten grew up in North Bend, Oregon and graduated from North Bend High School in 1987. He obtained his BA at Lewis and Clark College 1991 and his JD 1997 Willamette Univeristy, College of Law.
 
Deputy District Attorney 6 years - across the state of Oregon, Baker to Bend, to Coquille, Mr. Monsebroten has, as a trial attorney, prosecuted 83 criminal jury trials to jury verdict between 1998 and 2004.

Private Practice 13 years - Coos Bay, Oregon. Mr. Monsebroten has tried 32 jury trials 2005-2018. He has successfully defended criminal cases such as: Attempted Murder (acquittal), Felony Manufacture controlled substances (acquittal); Felony gun charge (acquittal); DUII (acquittal). He has also handled divorce and custody cases as trial counsel in at least 61 trials to the Court.

With more than 100 jury trials, as trial counsel, Mr. Monsebroten believes his breath and depth of experience in the last 19 years can be well applied in any courtroom. In criminal cases he has personally counseled both victims & defendants; in divorces both husband & wife; in child custody cases both mother and father. This experience from both sides of the aisle allows Mr. Monsebroten fair and impartial perspective in approaching client cases.
